The Keewatin Horror 2000 definitely proved that 1997 was a pathetic attempt by
incorporating a bigger crew, better props, and actually being somewhat scary.
The crew included Jeff and Will of course along with the new additions of Jo
(Jeff’s sister), Miranda (Will’s girlfriend), Steve (Jo’s boyfriend), and Erin
(neighbour/friend).
The night included a small graveyard where Steve and Will were positioned to
jump out and scare the visitors, Jeff decked out as the guy from the Scream
movies, and Jo being the graveyard keeper (a really ugly old man basically).
Erin and Miranda really only stood around in somewhat cheesy costumes but
still had a good time and added to the night.
The whole night didn’t take very long to put together and only slightly showed
our abilities and creativity to truly scary those who attended. If anything 2000
was the first year where visitors from Keewatin Ave. really got a taste as to what
we were about and that we were planning on continuing the tradition for years
to come.
