According to the response received The Keewatin Horror Crew had once again
outdone ourselves.  Despite a few minor setbacks at the beginning of the night
(i.e. a flood light breaking, train delay for a member of our crew, etc.) the rest
of the night went as planned.

The turnout nearly doubled as close to 300 people went through our event, and
judging from the screams and crying, all 300 of them left satisfied.

In 2003 we tried to incorporate more of what we like to call "mind scares",
which could simply be defined as the type of scares that make you think a
little, to truly understand the element of fear.  This tactic was performed
flawlessly by both Rebecca and Joanna respectively.  Rebecca was decked out
as a young girl playing in front of a bloody corpse, while Joanna played the
part of a disheveled old woman lost in a room of mirrors.
The bulk of the backyard was once again transformed into an eerie looking graveyard complete with Erin, Nick
and Ellis as zombies hungry for the visitors brains.  A fog machine provided the perfect atmosphere by creating a
creepy mist to cover the ground.

Other highlights included a scene inspired from the movie
The Ring which saw Miranda portray a little girl
emerging from a well.  She played the part so well it almost looked as if you were watching the movie itself.  Liz,
who originally intended to just provide the make-up for the night got right into it as a bride hanging her gutted
husband from a tree.  Jeff was the "door man" sporting prison garb and a mullet which was more party in the back
than business up front.  Will opted out of scaring to oversee the entire event as well as provide video
documentation for the crew.

The surprise of the night came when a local reporter from
The North Toronto Town Crier appeared on site to write
an entire
newspaper article on our event.

Finally never one to disappoint, because of our general love of providing the neighbourhood with a unique brand
of terror on Halloween night, The Keewatin Horror will be back in 2004!
